Americans Can Pay an Additional 36 Percent to Purchase Ethically-Sourced Food–and Research Reveals It Is Paying Off for Businesses

Nearly all Americans say if they understood it meant their buy was sound, based on the new study, they’d shell out an additional 36 percent over the cost.

2,000 Americans’ survey discovered 63 percent of respondents expressing their willingness to cover an extra one-third more at the cost for transparently-sourced and responsibly-made products.

87 percent reported that they are more inclined to purchase something if they understood each of the ingredients and knew.

Founded by OnePoll in combination with Nutrilite by Amway, the poll found an 87 percent of respondents agreed that firms are not clear enough about the components they put in their goods.

It might be hard for customers to keep an eye on the claims on packages while it is ‘cage-free’ or cruelty-free’, but these firms which are currently going the excess mile are currently profiting from an increase of bucks.

Delivered almost $114 billion up 29 percent from 2013. Furthermore, these products climbed 5.6 times quicker than those who weren’t advertised as renewable, in over 90 percent of the 36 types of products researched.
