Fantasy Wonderland of 500,000 balloons gives sick kids the most uplifting fundraising event ever – LOOK

After more than 400 balloon artists created a magical world for sick children, a hotel in Orlando was alive on Friday and Saturday with vivid colours and amazing flair.

The Hyatt Hotel ballroom became a life-size replica of Give Kids The World Village, a whimsical, non-profit resort in Kissimmee, Florida that provides families and children with free week-long vacations.

A half-million biodegradable balls were used to create life-sized replicas for the seven Village’s iconic ‘neighbourhoods.

Pioneer Balloon Company sponsors the event. All proceeds from $20 tickets will go to support the wishes of children and families with serious illnesses.

Pioneer Balloon Company, founded in 1917, stated that they are excited to bring the magic and excitement of balloon art to Orlando and raise funds for such a nonprofit.

The event raised $52,000 which will go to the families of critically ill children.

Giving Kids The World raises millions of dollars annually for charity through an annual Christmas lights show, which has been covered by GNN in each of the past two years.

Give Kids The World Village’s mission is to bring happiness to wish families through all-inclusive, personalized dream vacations that include Disney World.

Each family receives transportation, accommodations, all meals, donated tickets to the parks and nightly entertainment. Give Children The World welcomes 177,000 families every year from all 50 US states and 76 other countries since 1986.
