Nearly all Americans say if they understood it meant their buy was sound, based on the new study, they’d shell out an additional 36 percent over the cost. 2,000 Americans’ survey discovered 63 percent of respondents expressing their willingness to cover an extra one-third more at the cost for transparently-sourced and responsibly-made products. 87 percent reported that they are more inclined to purchase something if they understood each of the ingredients and knew.
